UK energy partnership with Norway
NSMC welcomes the new “landmark energy partnership between the UK and Norway designed to secure affordable and sustainable long-term energy supplies” announced by PM David Cameron.
The new energy partnership between the UK and Norway brings closer collaboration between the two countries across a wide range of energy activities, including safe and environmentally sensitive oil and gas extraction, long-term gas supply, renewable energy investment, electricity interconnection and international climate change policy development.
The NSMC welcomes the new partnership and looks forward to working closely with the New Anglia LEP to strengthen the region’s marine offering to ensure that Norfolk and Suffolk businesses are well placed to secure the business and technology development opportunities in the supply chain that the new energy partnership offers.
